Scott graduated from the University of Maryland-College Park with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism in May of 2008. At Maryland he was the Assistant Sports Director for the student-run radio outlet, WMUC 88.1-FM (www.WMUCSports.com).

While in College Park, Scott was also on the air for several Maryland Terrapin sports including football, women's basketball, baseball and women's soccer.  He has broadcasted from such venues as Maryland's Comcast Center and Byrd Stadium, Georgia Tech's Bobby Dodd Stadium, Clemson's Littlejohn Coliseum, Wake Forest's BB&T Field, Miami's Orange Bowl, The RAC at Rutgers, Virginia's John Paul Jones Arena, as well as the ACC Tournament at the Greensboro Coliseum.

Currently, Scott is the Assistant Director of Broadcasting with the Worcester Tornadoes of the Can-Am Baseball League in Worcester, Mass.
