Isaac Lowenkron is a sportscaster for KLAC-AM 570 Radio in Los Angeles, covering the Lakers, Dodgers, Angels, USC, and UCLA on a daily basis. He is the back-up host for the Los Angeles Lakers pre-game, halftime, and post-game shows on KLAC and the Lakers radio network, and also broadcast play-by-play of the 2007 Pioneer Las Vegas Bowl between UCLA and BYU on KLAC and the UCLA Bruins radio network. He also served as a color analyst for UCLA Bruins basketball broadcasts during the 2008 Pac-10 Basketball Tournament on KLAC and the UCLA Bruins radio network. He is in his third season as a radio play-by-play announcer for the Los Angeles Avengers of the Arena Football League, and has also broadcast radio play-by-play of the Pac-10 Men’s Basketball Tournament.

He additionally has done work for NBA TV, FOX Sports Radio, FOX News Radio, EA Sports, and "L.A. Ink." For the last two years, he has served as a play-by-play counselor at the Sportscaster Camp of America, a camp he attended in 1995 and 1996.

One of Lowenkron’s biggest thrills was getting the opportunity to contribute a story to Chick: His Unpublished Memoirs and the Memories of Those Who Knew Him, a book remembering legendary broadcaster Chick Hearn.

Lowenkron has covered the Super Bowl, the World Series, two NBA Finals, two Stanley Cup Finals, and two Final Fours. He has also covered three Rose Bowls, the Orange Bowl, the Major League Baseball All-Star Game, the NBA All-Star Game, and the NHL All-Star Game.

Before joining KLAC in April, 2001, he spent three seasons as the play-by-play announcer for USC baseball. During that time, he broadcast the College World Series, as well as the NCAA Women's Volleyball Final Four.

Lowenkron graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Southern California in May, 2001, and was the recipient of the 2001 Allan Malamud Scholarship, presented by the USC Annenberg School for Communication in recognition of talent and experience in sports media.
